I purchased the OnePlus Ace Pro Genshin Limited Edition.
Luxurious collaborative phone with ultra-high performance
The OnePlus Ace Pro Genshin Limited Edition (official name: OnePlus Ace Pro Genshin Impact / 一加 Ace Pro 原神限定版) is a smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. OnePlus Ace Pro is sold globally as OnePlus 10T.
It is designed in collaboration with Genshin’s popular character Hu Tao (胡桃) and comes with quite a few luxurious accessories, including a panel, a special case, a figure, and a SIM pin shaped like a stick.
While performance is often subtle when it comes to collaboration phones, the OnePlus Ace Pro is capable of playing Genshin at an average of 58.7 fps at the highest quality and is power efficient, allowing for long hours of smooth game play.

Slide the bright red package to reveal an inner box with Liyue Harbor design.
It has a double-sided opening, and an illustrated panel of Hu Tao in a transparent case welcomes you.
This is a regular design, not the OnePlus collaboration outfit.
The OnePlus Ace Pro is contained below it.
Further down is a Hu Tao poster of the OnePlus collaboration outfit, and each box contains a charger and other accessories.
The first one includes a Staff of Homa shaped SIM pin, case, and sticker.
The case is a cool contrast of red and black.
The charger is also Hu Tao-specific.
Cable and figure are also included.
Beautiful flat display
The display area of the OnePlus Ace Pro is flat, so the edges are not difficult to see and protective film is easy to apply.
Diamond pixel array.
Saturation and viewing angle are good, and you can enjoy games with beautiful display.
When measuring brightness with the LX-1336B during HDR video playback with Bright HDR video mode on and automatic brightness adjustment on, the maximum reached 486 nits.
The specifications call for a maximum of 800 nits, but even during HBM, the maximum was 624 nits.
While this is sufficient brightness, it is a little short for enjoying HDR videos.
The total touch latency measured by the WALT Latency Timer was 41 ms.
Despite being a Chinese version, the Widevine L1 allows streaming in HD quality on Amazon Prime Video (beta) and other services.
Fingerprint-resistant, calmly colored back
The OnePlus Ace Pro Genshin Limited Edition also features a walnut motif on the back design, in a different shade than the regular model.
The fingerprint-resistant finish does not detract from the Hu Tao design.
The weight is 204.1g including the protective film attached from the beginning.
Cameras that can capture bright night scenes
OnePlus Ace Pro has
- 50MP (OIS・SONY IMX766)
- 8MP (Ultra-wide OV08D)
- 2MP (Macro OV02B10)
triple cameras.
Although the IMX766 is a well-worn sensor, it is still capable of taking beautiful pictures.
The flashlight has the same design as Hu Tao’s eyes, although it is hard to tell from the photo.
All photos were taken hand-held and are stored here.
The saturation is high and it is a little difficult to distinguish between red and magenta.
Flare and ghosting are unlikely to occur even in backlit situations.
While white splash is suppressed, the surroundings can also be brightly photographed.
This is what the night sky looks like when shot in night view mode.
The camera can zoom up to 5x, and in handheld manual mode I could barely make out the moon’s pattern.
VoLTE supported
OnePlus has a strong image that VoLTE release is a must, but OnePlus Ace Pro supports VoLTE from the beginning.
Supported bands are:
- 2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz
- 2G: CDMA BC0(800MHz)
- 3G: UMTS (WCDMA) 1/2/4/5/6/8/19
- 4G: TD-LTE 34/38/39/40/41
- 4G: FDD-LTE 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/18/19/20/26/28A
- 5G: NR SA:n1/n3/n5/n8/n20/n28A/n38/n40/n41/n77/n78
- NR NSA:n1/3/5/8/40/41/77/78
Dolby Atmos supported
The OnePlus Ace Pro is Dolby Atmos compatible.
The speakers are stereo speakers of the type that use the speaker for calls, and although the left and right sound balance is different, the difference is small.
The bass was stronger and the treble sounded a bit muffled.
The audio output latency was 31.0 ms when measured with the WALT Latency Timer.
Capable of charging up to 150W
The OnePlus Ace Pro is capable of fast charging at up to 150W.
However, the charger can only deliver up to 20V x 6.25A = 125W in 100V regions.
Still, it is quite fast and can be used all day long at 100% with just a little charging in the morning.
The buttons on the OnePlus Ace Pro Genshin Limited Edition are red.
OnePlus used to have an alert slider… but it was discontinued due to the merger with OPPO.
The power and volume buttons are separated on the left and right.
There is a microphone hole on the top.
High-performance & power-saving SoC for Genshin
The OnePlus Ace Pro Genshin Limited Edition is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
It is very different from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which was made by Samsung and had poor power efficiency, and 8+ Gen 1 consumes less power while delivering high performance.
In Geekbench 5, the Genshin disguised version scored 1004 single-core and 3944 multi-core, while the normal version scored 1042 single-core and 3999 multi-core.
It seems that the performance is adjusted by the package name judgment, though slightly.
In the 3DMark Wild Life Stress Test, the score was 10530, with a temperature rise from 24°C to 41°C (17°C rise) and battery consumption of 16%.
Stability is high and battery temperature rise is low.
This is a high score among Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 equipped devices.
PCMark Work 3.0, which measures performance in everyday use such as document manipulation, scored 13797.
LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage.
Not so fast compared to other companies’ high-end devices.
In game mode, choose “Gaming” mode for better performance.
The global version of Genshin also offers the frame rate stabilization feature “Ultra-steady frames”.
When played Genshin in Ultra-steady frames off and in Gaming mode at the highest quality and 60FPS setting and measured with WeTest PerfDog, the power consumption was 99.26mW per FPS at an average of 58.7FPS.
The power efficiency is good enough to rival the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
The battery temperature only rose to a maximum of 32°C and the side frames were comfortable as they did not get hot.
The low heat generation and low battery consumption make it ideal for those who want to play Genshin for long periods of time.
In World of Tanks Blitz, when played at 120FPS setting and all graphics settings at their highest values, the average was 118FPS with a power consumption of 59.29mW per FPS.
While tuned to Genshin, the power consumption of foreign-made games seems to be higher than that of other companies.
The inside is full of Hu Tao
Although the Play Store is not included, you can use it by simply downloading and installing the APK from APKMirror or other sources.
The design inside also has a lot of Hu Tao motifs, and the icons on the home screen add the essence of Hu Tao to the design.
The always-on display (AOD) also have a lovely design.
The in-screen fingerprint sensor icon is also specially designed.
Authentication is quite fast and comfortable to unlock.
The keyboard, notification and ringtones are also Hu Tao-specific.
This is the Chinese version of Hu Tao’s voice.
Conclusion
- Design and accessories for Hu Tao fans
- High-performance and efficient Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
- AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate support
- Supports 150W and 125W fast charging
- USB 2.0 Port
- Storage performance is so-so
Thanks to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and high cooling performance, the OnePlus Ace Pro Genshin Limited Edition is easy to play even heavy games like Genshin smoothly for a long time.
It also has multi-language and VoLTE support, and 150W fast charging makes it less inconvenient even though it is a Chinese version.
The accessories, body design, and contents are also full of Hu Tao, and Hu Tao fans should definitely get one.
It is available in China for 4299CNY, but it was so popular that the pre-order phase started in 1 second and the main sale ended in 3 seconds, and the next sales is undecided.
GIZTOP sells them at rip-off prices.
AliExpress is still high but better price.
